Eligibility:
For Post Graduate Programmes in Management: For all IIMs, the minimum eligibility criterion for admission to PGP. The candidate must hold a Bachelor's degree of any of the Universities incorporated by an Act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education

CAT Scores:
The CAT scorecard will be mailed to the candidates around January 6, 2006. |
Scholarships/Financial Assistance: It is the endeavour of all IIMs that no student be denied opportunity to pursue the Post-Graduate Programme in Management for want of adequate financial resources. Substantial need-based scholarships are available for students belonging to economically disadvantaged families. (Please see the write-up on each IIM in the CAT bulletin for details.) |
Reservations: As per Government of India requirement 15% and 71/2% seats are reserved for SC and ST candidates, respectively. 3% seats are reserved for Persons with Disability (PWD). The three categories of disability area: (a) low-vision/blindness, (b) hearing impairment, and (c) locomoter disability/cerebral palsy. |

Allahabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Chandigarh, Chennai, Delhi, Gurgaon, Guwahati, Gwalior, Hyderabad, Indore, Jaipur, Jamshedpur, Kolkata, Kozhikode, Lucknow, Mumbai, Nagpur, Noida, Patna, Pune, and Vishakhapatnam. |
CAT Bulletin: The CAT bulletin containing the CAT application form and other information can be obtained at branches of State of India, between July 18 and August 22, 2005 for Rs.1100/- (Rs.550/- for SC/ST candidates). Please note that a candidate needs to buy only one CAT Bulletin irrespective of how many IIMs he/she is apply to. All candidates must enclose 3rd copy of Bank's/IIMs' Pay-in Slip with the CAT application form. SC/ST candidates should submit a copy of SC/ST certificate to the Bank/IIM at the time of obtaining the CAT Bulletin. Please ensure your eligibility to appear in CAT before procuring the CAT Bulletin. CAT application form of ineligible candidate and application form with incomplete information will be summarily rejected. No claim of refund will be entertained on bulletin once sold. |
Under exceptional circumstances [such as (a) if the stock of bulletins exhaust in the nearby branch of the bank, (b)
bank branch is inaccessible to the candidates, and (c) the bulletin sale through banks close] copy of the CAT Bulletin can also be obtained directly from any one of the IIMs at the following addresses till August 26, 2005 by
sending a crossed DD for Rs.1200/- (Rs.600/- for SC/ST candidates with a copy of the SC/ST certificate) drawn in favour of the respective IIM. Request for bulletin should be accompanied by |
