Eligibility: MBA: A pass in any recognised Bachelors degree with minimum 3 years duration in 10 + 2 + 3 / 4 years pattern (or) any recognised Bachelors degree with 10 + 3 years diploma + 3 years pattern (or) B.E./B.Tech./B.Arch./B.Pharm degree. Those who are appearing for final year / semester examination of
the above qualifying degree in April / May 2011 can also apply for TANCET 2011.
Candidates have to submit only one application for the Entrance Test for all the above P.G. Programmes. The candidates have to pay a fee of Rs.300/. (Rs.150/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu on production of a copy of Permanent Community Certificate in card format) as entrance test fee for anyone of the programmes either (1) M.B.A. or (2) M.C.A. or (3) M.E/M.Tech./M.Arch./ M.Plan.
If a candidate desires to appear for more than one programme, for every additional programme, he/she has to pay Rs.300/- (Rs.150/- for SC/SCA/ST candidates belonging to Tamil Nadu).
Registration for the Entrance Test: (1) Spot Registration: Hall Tickets will be issued to the candidates who come in person to the Co-ordinating Centres with copy of 10th Std. mark sheet and 12th Std. mark sheet (or 3 years Diploma Certificate) and cash or Demand Draft (A single DD is sufficient for one or more programme) for the required amount towards Entrance Test fee.

Fee Structure

I Year : First Installment: Rs.1,87,500/- at the time of admission.
Second Installment : Rs.1, 87,500/- by November 30, 2011.
II Year : Third Installment : Rs. 1, 87,500/- at the beginning of second year in July 2012.

Step (V): Fee Submission: Time of three days would be given to the selected candidates from the day of declaration of final selection list to deposit the admission fee of Rs.40,000. Time of fifteen days would be given to the selected candidates from the day of declaration of final selection list to deposit first instalment.
