Eligibility Criterion

General Candidates -- A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent (10+2+3) with minimum 50% marks or equivalent in any discipline from an AICTE/UGC/AIU recognized University is required of all candidates. The applicants
in the program are required to take either the Common Admission Test (CAT) or
the Management Aptitude Test (MAT).
Company Sponsored -- The eligibility is the same as above. Additionally, a certificate from the sponsoring organization is required to be attached to the application form.
Overseas Applicants -- Graduates from any Foreign recognized University/ Institute with a good command over English are eligible. The applicant is required to take the GMAT (Graduate Management Aptitude Test) with a preferred minimum score of 600.

Selection Procedure

Candidates short-listed on the basis of above criterion will be called for a Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI) for final selection. Final selection is on the basis of test score, performance
in the GD/PI, academic performance, work experience, etc.

Fee Structure & Scholarships

The proposed fee structure includes all expenses including tuition, materials, laptop, a study tour abroad (locations offered are Europe, US, Singapore and Dubai). Hostel charges are extra.
FIIB rewards outstanding students, with an excellent academic and extracurricular record, demonstrating aptitude for a career in business management with Scholarships up to Rs. 1 Lakh each. It also offers

NIFT offers admission to Post Graduate Diploma Programme in Fashion Entrepreneurship a Twelve month programme designed to provide expertise to owners, entrepreneurs, middle and senior level business managers and decision makers in the fashion industry. It aims to build a strong professional foundation of technical and managerial ability for effective decision making.

Under Graduate Programmes (BBA/BCA):
The admissions to the Under-graduate courses are based on the results of class 12th and an interview conducted by IMC. The students may apply directly to IMC or through UGAT, conducted by AIMA.
Post Graduate Programmes (PGDM / MBA / MCA):
A Bachelor's Degree in any subject, from a recognised University is required. The final year students may also apply but will be eligible for admission only on clearing their exams.
Those applying for the MBA (part-time) programme must fulfill the additional requirement of having
a minimum of one year of work experience as a professional.

Mode of Selection

1. The Admissions are based on the written test conducted by IMC (I-MAT). It consists of tests for
(a)  Proficiency in English (b)  Reasoning and Logical Ability (c)  Quantitative Aptitude
Alternatively, the scores of MAT / UGAT (conducted by AIMA) and CAT, XAT, GMAT are also applicable. This is followed by Group Discussion and Personal Interview by IMC. The MBA (PT) applicants can appear directly for the GD/Interview.
2. The NRI / Paid / Foreign / NRI or Company - sponsored candidates are exempted from the written test.
3. Foreign candidates must have proficiency in English, for which they may have to appear for
a written/oral test.

International Internship Programme:

ASBM students can opt for international internship programme at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB), USA for which a Memorandum of Understanding has been exchanged between ASBM and CSUSB. This programme of 8 weeks for selected students includes course work,  industry visits and/or excursion visits. On successful completion of the programme, the certificate of participation will be provided by the Global Management Centre of CSUSB to all the visiting students who will successfully pass the course. The existing fee of the institute does not include this programme. The expenses towards this will be borne separately by the student.


The candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree, with at least 50% marks or equivalent CGPA in any discipline of any of the universities by an Act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared as a deemed to be University under section 3 of UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognised by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India. The bachelor's Degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing higher secondary schooling (10+2) or equivalent. The basis of computing the percentage obtained by the candidate in the bachelor's degree would be based on the practice followed by the university/institution from where the candidate has obtained the degree. In case of the candidates being awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the equivalence would be based on the equivalence certified by the university/institution from where they have obtained bachelor's degree. In case the university/institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence must be established by ASBM by dividing obtained CGPA with the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the resultant with 100. Candidates appearing for the final examination for the bachelor's degree (or equivalent examination) can also apply, subject to furnishing evidence to that effect latest by the stipulated date mentioned in the offer letter, otherwise they may be asked to withdraw from the programme.

Application Procedure:

The candidate has to buy ASBM application form along with the information bulletin & programme brochure on payment of Rs. 950/- (Rupees nine hundred fifty only) by hand from our corporate office or campus. Application form can also be downloaded from our website at Candidates seeking admission to our Post Graduate Programmes will have to qualify either in CAT/MAT/ATMA.
Based on the performance in CAT/MAT/ATMA and past academic performance, the candidate will be short listed for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview. The final selection of candidate to the programme will be based on the performance of the candidate in GD and PI.

Successful candidates will be intimated of their final selection after the group discussion and personal interview are over. The selected candidates must pay their first instalment by the stipulated date mentioned in the offer letter; otherwise they would forfeit their seat to the person next on the waiting list.

* Students with marks between 60-69% will have to submit a valid score on either the Under Graduate Admission Test (UGAT) conducted by the All India Management Association (AIMA) OR score on the Auro University Entrance Test. Students with marks above 70% may, at the discretion of the Admission Committee, be exempted from appearing for any entrance test.
* Students who have scored less than 70% marks or equivalent grade in English will be required to submit their TOEFL / IELTS score or take the Auro University English Language Proficiency Test.
* Completion of Application Form including Statement of Purpose.
* Personal Interview
Eligibility Criteria:
* Successful completion of Class XII (10+2) or equivalent examination in any stream with 60% aggregate marks or equivalent grade. Students expecting their results by September 2011 may also apply for provisional admission.
* Students appearing for their Class XII examination will be given provisional admissions based on their Class X performance.
