Think of IIMA, to many people the IIM, and you think of stratospheric multi-figure salaries; of brilliant people slogging away at marketing and finance and corporate strategy. You do not think, we dare say, of karate experts disposing of burning bricks with careless flicks of the wrist, of mountaineers rappelling down four-story brick walls, rescuing damsels in mock distress while at it.

But then, the last two weeks were not typical weeks at the most reputed business schools in the Asia-Pacific region. The last two weeks, after all, were "Talent Night".

"Insight"ful Marketing Fair of IIMA Students

The concept of Insight is simple. Quoting from India Today, It is a "hefty dose of market research mixed with games of skill and chance in a typical mela milieu"

The idea of the whole exercise is to develop an innovative method to study a marketing problem. The method is usually in the form of a game designed to study certain aspects of the respondent's behaviour which, suitably interpreted, would give the clue to solve the problem.
