Candidates seeking admission should have A Bachelor's Degree of a university or a regonized institute. Those who have appeared or are to appear in Bachelor's Degree Examination 2001 may also apply. They may be provisionally admitted, but their examination result must reach the Institute by October 16, 2001.

Step 1

How  to  apply
The application forms for admissions to these programmes alogwith the prospectus will be available from the office of the Birla Institute of Management Technology from October15, 2000 to November 30, 2000 on all working days including Sunday except Saturday on payment of Rs.500/- between 10.00 a.m. and 5.00 p.m. If required by post, a crossed bank draft of Rs.550/- drawn in favour of Birla Institute of Management Technology, payable at New Delhi may be sent.

Step 2

Entrance Test
All applicants for admission to the PGDBM (Full time) Programme conducted by the Institute shall have to appear in a written test to be held on Saturday December 23, 2000 at 2.30 p.m. at different centres in Delhi, Jaipur, Hyderabad, Calcutta, Lucknow, Pune, Baroda and Indore.

Step 3

Group Discussion and Viva-Voce
The candidate who qualify in the written test will be provided information by post with regard to date, time and place when group discussion and interview are to be held. The selection for admission shall be on the basis of merit as determined by the candidate's performance in written test, group discussion and personal interview.

Note : The director has the discretion to cancel any of the centres. Candidates of cancelled centres may be alloted centres of their second, third or fourth preference.
For written test, the candidate should bring with him two H.B. pencils and a good quality soft eraser.
