Nirma Institute of Management is a premier management school in the country. The Institute conducts a two year full time Post Graduate Programme in Management, a three year part time Post Graduate Programme in Management and a Fellow Programme in Management
(a doctoral level programme). The Post Graduate Programmes of the Institute are accredited by the National Board of Accreditation and recognized as equivalent to
the Master in Business Administration by Gujarat University.
In addition to the above core programmes, the Institute also conducts Executive Diploma Programmes (weekend programmes), Executive Education Programmes in management for corporate executives, and in-house training programmes for corporates.
The NIM has developed academic collaborations with various foreign universities in USA, Australia, Malaysia, South Africa and South Korea. The NIM has world class infrastructure with a most conducive environment for intellectual dialogue and learning.

The qualifications for the various positions are :
Professor :
Ph.D. or a Fellow of IIMS. ICAor ICWA with first class Master's degree in Business Management /other relevant management related discipline with 10 years' relevant experience out of that
5 years must be at the level of Associate Professor. 
Associate Professor :
Ph.D. or a Fellow of IIMS. ICAor ICWA with first class Master's degree in Business Management /other relevant management related discipline with 8 years' relevant experience out of that
5 years must be at the level of Assistant Professor.
Assistant Professor :
Ph.D. or a Fellow of IIMS. ICAor ICWA with first class Master's degree in Business Management /other relevant management related discipline with 3 years' relevant experience.

Those enrolled in a doctoral programme and about to complete Ph.D.
can also be considered as Lecture (Sr. Scale).
Post-doctoral experience in teaching/research or industry can be a added qualification.
The doctoral degree requirement may be waived for candidates having substantial
and relevant industry experience.
Faculty will be appointed at various levels depending on the qualification and experience.
The pay-scale of various faculty positions is as follows:
Designation : Scale
Director : Rs. 25000/- (fixed)
Professor : Rs. 18400-500-22400
Associate Professor : Rs. 16400-450-20000
Assistant Professor : Rs. 12000-420-18300
Lecturer (Senior Scale) : Rs. 10000-325-15200
The starting basic salary and faculty rank are dependent on qualifications, achievements and experience. Allowances and other benefits are in line with IIMS.
