The Institute:
Sri Atmanand Jain Institute of Management & Technology is a premier Institute in Haryana, located close to Chandigarh and hub of a number of prestigious Industrial areas like Chandigarh, Baddi (HP) and Mohali. The Institute is managed by famous Education Trust named after the Great Jain Acharya of erstwhile Punjab, Sri Atmanand Jain. The Trust also runs Jain PG College since 1938 and is prominent higher education Institute in this Part of North India. The Institute is running full time MBA since 1996 and MCA Program since 2001 affiliated to Kurkukshetra University and can boast of excellent infrastructure and own lush green campus. Ambala is well developed City on National Highway No 1 with excellent educational, housing and medical facilities. Several  AIMT students regularly appear  in top 10 positions in University examinations.
Institute attracts a large number of Recruiting Companies and Subject and Industry experts from all over India, every year.

Our Requirement:
For strengthening our Faculty in view of planned accreditation by NBA, we are looking for hardworking and dedicated Faculty in Management and IT departments, having At least Masters in Relevant area, preferably a Ph.D. Those from Industry background or with engineering graduation will be given preference.
The candidates should have at least 60% marks in Masters from a reputed university and with 1 to 20 years experience in MBA Teaching and/or industry.
Age Group: 23 to 60 years.
Retired Senior Executives and Professors are also welcome both for regular as well Visiting Faculty positions.
Command on Concepts, good Communication ability, and devotion to work, as role models for budding managers shall be main selection criteria. Persons should be willing to work hard and for elongated hours whenever required and able to undertake industrial interactions.

Finance Management (IFM, Portfolio, Securities Investment)-2

Training & Placement Officer: will look after Summer & Final Placements, Executive Development Programs, Admissions and Institute Brand Management. Will take 1-2 courses, primarily in HRM/Marketing Areas and can be of any age group and work experience background but should be smart, active and having proven skills.

Compensation:
A Lecturer has to ordinarily teach about 5-6 courses in each year including both semesters, which includes 2 foundation courses and 3-4 elective courses in respective specialization Area.
The candidates will be placed as Lecturers/Assistant Professors/ Professors depending on qualification, experience and background.
The Compensation includes pay scales as per AICTE/UGC rules and other perquisites.
The Institute encourages Research and Consultancy work by the faculty members.
Institute also liberally encourages career advancement efforts by faculty members.
Limited Institute accommodation can be considered in deserving case.
The person is expected to work for at least 3 years duration with the Institute.

WHO CAN APPLY: Doctorate degree in an appropriate discipline, excellent academic record throughout and a minimum of ten, eight and three years of experience in teaching/research/industry in relevant areas for Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professor, respectively. These requirements may be relaxed for outstanding candidates including outstanding fresh Ph.D.s. Those with strong research records would be given preference. A candidate having a strong industrial background but not having a doctorate may also be considered.
Young persons are particularly encouraged to apply. Persons who have not yet obtained their Ph.D.s, but will be completing their theses shortly, are also encouraged to apply.
Candidates interested in Visiting Faculty positions may also apply. Visiting positions carry consolidated emoluments comparable to those for permanent positions.
