Indian Institute of Management Indore (IIMI) is a premier management school located in central India. IIMI offers a PG Programme in Management, executive education, and Management Development Programmes in close partnership with industry. IIMI is expanding its permanent faculty and is hiring Faculty at Professor level in the area of Economics & Human Resource Management.

Requirements:

Professor: Ph.D. or equivalent, a record of excellence in teaching for a minimum of 10 years of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor; ability to interact with a diverse student body and executives; and a record of publications in refereed journals, and ability to undertake research independently.

Candidates applying for the above positions will be expected to offer cross-functional electives, in addition to the core courses in the area of their specialization, in different programs of the institute, and actively participate in research, consultancy and institution building activities of the Institute.

Scales of Pay:

• Professor: Rs.18400-500-22400

In addition to the salary, usual allowances and benefits, admissible within the prescribed Government of India rules and as approved by the Board of Governors, faculty are allowed the privilege of 52 days of consulting, income from which is shared between faculty and the Institute according to Institute's rules. The institute also provides liberal financial grants to encourage faculty to undertake research and participate in seminars and conferences and programs of self-development.

Professors of institutes of national repute who have recently retired may also apply for contract appointment or as visiting faculty.

Qualification and Experience Requirements:

Assistant Professor - Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and at least three years industrial/research/teaching experience.

Associate Professor - Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 8 years experience of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.

Professor - Ph.D with first class or equivalent at the preceding degree in the appropriate branch with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of 10 years experience of which at least 5 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor/Associate Professor.

SCALE OF PAY AND OTHER BENEFITS
 
Assistant Professor: Rs.12,000-420-18,300
Associate Professor: Rs.16,400-450-20,000
Professor: Rs.18,400-500–22,400

Dearness and other allowances are same as those applicable to educational Institutes supported by MHRD, Government of India. Retirement benefits and Leave Travel Concession are as per Government of India norms. Accommodation will be provided on campus subject to availability. Those who applied earlier may also apply.
