Eligibility : Applicants will be : A Master's Degree holder in any discipline or equivalent qualification, recognized by the Association of Indian Universities or by the All India Council for Technical Education, with a minimum of 55% marks. Applicants for Corporate Strategy & Policy specialization must have a minimum of two years' work experience in addition to a minimum of 55% marks in Masters Degree OR A Chartered Accountant (CA) with a minimum of 55% marks OR A First Class Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Technology with atleast 60% and a minimum of two years' work experience.
In addition, all FPM applicants must also satisfy the eligibility criteria for the Common Admission Test

NRIs and Foreign candidates, who have taken the GMAT (including AWA scores) in 2004,
are also eligible to apply.

Fellowships : The fellowship covers all academic expenses (consisting of tuition, computer, library, medical insurance, placement and alumni fees) and living expenses, including boarding and lodging. In addition, students will be entitled to out-of-pocket allowance ranging between Rs.72,000 p.a. to Rs. 84,000 p.a.
A contingency grant is also provided annually.

Invites applications for admission to the
Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) equivalent to Ph.D. - from July 2005

Objective: The Programme offers full-time advanced study in management and in related disciplines. Two years of course work is followed by about two additional years of research work on a doctoral thesis. Students who complete the programme are equipped to pursue careers in teaching; research and consultancy. The Programme  is offered in the following areas:
1. Management – with specialisation in one of the following disciplines: Behavioural Sciences, Finance
and Control, Human Resource Management, Management Information Systems, Strategic Management; Marketing, Operations Management 2. Economics 3. Operations Research and Systems Analysis
4. Regional Development 5. Sociology.

Completed Application Forms, should reach the Administrative Officer (FPR)
at the aforesaid address by November 15, 2004

Eligibility : Post Graduate Degree in any discipline or equivalent professional qualification having 55% aggregate marks at the Master's level and 50% aggregate marks at the Bachelor's level, or First Class Bachelor Degree in Engineering. In addition, candidates should have secured 50% aggregate marks at either the Secondary or the Higher Secondary Examination (or equivalent held by a Board/University). Candidates appearing for the final examinations are also eligible to apply provided they complete all their examination requirements by June 30, 2005.
Selection: Applicants have to appear for the CAT 2004. Candidates short-listed on the basis of CAT performance will be interviewed for final selection. However, the following applicants are exempted from CAT: (i) those who have completed PGDM/PGDCM from any IIM with CGPA of at least 6.0/9.0 (or equivalent); (ii) those who have completed PGDBM of IIMC with CGPA of at least 6.5/9.0. All candidates exempted from the CAT will have to qualify  through interview for final selection.
Financial Assistance: No tuition fee is charged. Students are offered scholarship of Rs.10,000/- per month for the first two years. The scholarship amount is enhanced to Rs.11 ,000/- per month for the subsequent two years subject to the completion of Comprehensive Qualifying Examination. There is a provision to
extend the scholarship for maximum  period of one more year for deserving candidates.

Application: Candidate can apply to at most two areas in prescribed Application Forms. For obtaining the Application Forms an application in plain paper specifying the number of areas applied for should reach the Administrative Officer (Fellow Programmes & Research), IIM Calcutta, Diamond Harbour Road, Joka, Kolkata. - 700 104 by October 18, 2004. Irrespective of the number of areas applied for, a candidate should send a self-addressed envelope (9" X 12") affixed with stamps worth Rs. 50/-, a self-addressed sticker/slip, and a single crossed bank draft for Rs.300/- in favour of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta payable at Kolkata. There is no application fee for SC/ST applicants who submit an attested copy of SC/ST Certificate. Application Form can also be downloaded from IIMC Website. While submitting such downloaded form, a demand draft, of Rs. 300/- in favour of Indian Institute of Management Calcutta needs to be enclosed
with the application.

Eligibility: Candidates with (i) PRM from IRMA or a two-year full time Post Graduate Diploma in Management from any recognised Indian or foreign university, with a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 2.60 out of 4.33 or its equivalent and minimum two years' experience; OR (ii) One Year Programme (OYP) from IRMA with a GPA of 2.60 and minimum three years' experience; OR (iii) Post-Graduate Degree in any discipline with 55% marks in aggregate (or a GPA of 2.60 out of 4.33 or its equivalent) from any recognised Indian or foreign university and two years' experience; OR (iv) M. Phil. in any discipline with 55% marks in aggregate (or a GPA of 2.60 out of 4.33 or its equivalent) from any recognised Indian or foreign university. Only full timework experience in managerial cadre or research or consultancy or teaching at Degree / PG level will be considered towards experience.
Stipend: FPRM participants will be paid a monthly stipend of Rs. 10,000/- for a maximum period of three years plus a contingency grant of Rs.10,000/- per year for all the three years. Each participant would
be expected to contribute as teaching and research assistant during second and third year.

Selection : PRM and FPRM participants would be selected on the basis of a written test and an interview. The test will be conducted on December 05, 2004 (Sunday) at 25 test centres across Indian and
the interviews will be held in February 2005 at IRMA, Anand. Candidates with IRMA's PRM
applying for FPRM are exempted from the written test.

Eligibility: The candidates for the programme must have Masters' degree or its equivalent in any discipline with at least 55% marks. Bachelors in engineering or technology with a first class and a minimum of one year of work experience are also eligible for admission. The candidates must also have scored a minimum of 55% marks in all their public examinations starting with the secondary level.
Age Limit: Candidates must not be more than 45 years as on 30th June 2005.
Admission Procedure: Candidates are required to take Common Admission (CAT), which is common to
both Post Graduate as well as Doctoral Programme of all the IIMs. Alternatively, they can take GATE, GRE and JRF of UGC and CSIR (scores obtained within previous one year are only valid). Candidates who have already obtained a PGDM from any of the IIMs with a minimum CGPA of 6.0 on a 10 point scale or equivalent need not take CAT and can apply directly through the prescribed FPM application form.
Financial Support: All FPM students are provided with a monthly stipend of Rs.10,000/- for a maximum period of four years. IIM Lucknow provides free lodging facilities. Students will not be required to pay any fees. A contingency grant of Rs.15,000/- per year is also provided to the fellow students. NRls and foreign candidates will be required to bear all the expenses including the tuition fee.
