Tourist Studies is new multi-disciplinary journal being launched in 2001 to provide a platform for the development of critical perspectives on the nature of tourism as a social phenomenon.

Tourist Studies will provide a critical social science approach to the study of the tourist and the structures which influence tourist behaviour and the production and reproduction to tourism.
