Placements for the Class of 2006

The Placement activity for the Class of 2006 began with a big bang with regular star recruiters like Tata Consultancy Services, GMR Group, Sierra Atlantic, Satyam, Times of India etc visiting the campus for recruitment. Some of the initiatives taken during the year to strengthen the activity further are as under:

• Pre-Counseling the students about the company's profile, their expectations, required competencies etc.
• Strengthening the infrastructure on the physical and human front such as adding new faculty, computer lab.
• For the first time, with a view to create IPE brand image outside Andhra Pradesh, few faculty teams have visited Chennai, Bangalore, Hosur for establishing rapport and interacting with the recruiters.

The Star recruiters for this year were Microsoft, GMR Group, TCS, Satyam Computers, Nipuna Services, SAB  Miller, Citifinancials, Sharekhan Ltd, ICICI group. As usual TCS, Times of India, Softcell Technologies, Sierra Atlantic  continued the tradition of being on the campus and picking up students. Other prestigious companies to come on to the campus include, Mana-India Pvt Ltd, Spencers Hypermarket, Zen Technologies Ltd, Alliance IT Consulting Pvt Ltd, Rocsys Technologies, ING Vysaya Bank, Fortune Informatics Ltd, APITCO Ltd, Safal Solutions Ltd, PKL Ltd, etc.
