Once again NITIE is back with a bang. This time the bang is louder then ever before. The reason is the annual corporate event "LAKSHYA" a Flagship of PGDIE.

NITIE, Mumbai, proudly presents Lakshya 2006, the annual confluence of corporate giants and budding managers. 13th October 2006 will witness the legacy of excellence exemplifying the 7th edition in the presence of eminent personalities from the corporate world. This unique event serves as a catalyst and an eye-opener for nurturing and benchmarking the latest in management ideas & concepts. The Campus will be buzzing with plethora of activities spread over three days.

The event will be inaugurated by Mr Jayant Patil, Hon'ble Finance minister, Govt. of Maharashtra. It will be a symposium of great minds from the corporate world. The presentation ceremony of Lakshya Business Visionary Awards will be followed by a small tête-à-tête between the stalwarts of corporate world and the media. The event will be covered by major electronic and print media for all the three days along with a live coverage of the Prize distribution Ceremony on the Final Day.

Talking about Lakshya, it represents the conception and implementation of ideas in different companies under the four modules of Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Systems & IT Management and General & HR Management.

NITIE awards Lakshya Business Visionary Awards to corporate icons for their extraordinary leadership and exemplary vision to impact the course of Indian economy. The Lakshya Business Visionary Awardees for year 2006 are

    * Mr. Keshubh Mahindra, Chairman, Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd. and

    * Mr. Y.C. Deveshwar, Chairman, ITC. Ltd.
