Mr. Keshub Mahindra a distinct doyen among industrial celebrities defined visionary as a person who looks at the future with wisdom and imagination. The often quoted adage that "there is no mantra for instant success but hard work" was termed as the talisman which if executed properly can fetch laurels and accolades to anyone.  He raised the issue that a major part of our population lives in the rural areas and thus the attempts to alleviate poverty through wealth creation should not only be confined to cities but should be spread across the country.  The conclusion remark was about the moral conduct that one should behave with to command respect in the society.

Mr. Y.C Deveshwar who has been instrumental in taking ITC to new heights, was modest in saying  "Being the Chairman of ITC is a tribute to the people of this nation." He adumbrated that the challenges in the years ahead will be more complex and we must decide now, what role we have to play for the sustainability of the economic growth. He wanted the young brains to find ways of perpetual progress, while nurturing the environment in the process.

Mr. Rajat Sharma, the winner of Emresario Best Start-up Entrepreneur award for the year 2006, promised that the voice of the common man will be made more forceful so as to incorporate the concerns of every strata of Society. He expressed that the Fourth Estate should depict the true voice of the people to empower and build a foundation of information exchange for the common man.

The Chief Guest Mr. Jayant Patil reiterated that the bottleneck in achieving a double digit growth rate is the shabby condition of our infrastructure. Now the onus of moulding the future of the country rests on the shoulders of engineers who have zeal and capability and can veer the growth in such a direction that leads realization of the egalitarian view of our vision of success. He very explicitly illustrated how the lethargic nature of our judicial system is proving a major obstacle in the path of total industrialization.
