A liberal arts education lasts a lifetime. It will not leave you after your final exam. It will not disappear along
with your final thesis. Instead, a liberal arts education will grow tall and strong with each passing day of your life. All your life you can be assured that in despairing times, your education will not fail you. That is the
liberal arts.
At the very outset, a liberal arts education comprises the accumulation of general knowledge and a development of the student's intellect. The
sciences and the arts are explored. Languages are deciphered. Life skills are taught. The student is taught how to communicate with others and with himself. Above all else, a liberal arts education trusts its students. It knows
that there is magic within the individual that can, and must be unleashed. It values the freedom of the mind. It values individual thinking.
At FLAME, we seek to impart such an education with alacrity. We know that learning
by rote is not the answer. We seek to create men and women who can think for themselves, who can explore new waters and walk new paths. Our aim is to give our students what they deserve-an unhindered, uninhibited education.
Perhaps an education that will set them free
FLAME school of liberal education provides every student with flexibility, teamed with interdisciplinary learning and cross specialization. The course offers a wide range of
subjects from pure sciences to humanities, and social science to arts and philosophy. There will be applied science subjects like information technology, marketing, environmental science, finance. By introducing these subjects at
an undergraduate level, FLAME will open the doors to various career opportunities. FLAME school of liberal education will conduct a 4-year undergraduate program for students who have passed their HSC (12th Std.) examinations in any
stream viz. Arts, Science or Commerce. At the end of four years every student will get a double degree - he/she will be awarded a B.A. / B.B.A, and a Diploma in Liberal Education.
