Fortune Institute Wins First Prize in
Case Folio Competition

11 November, 2009, New Delhi:

Student team from Fortune Institute of International Business have won first prize in the 'Case Folio Competition 2009' at the national case analysis competition held on 7th Nov. 2009 for students of Business Schools at Geetarattan International Business School, Rohini,.  The winning team comprised of Ms. Swati Arora, Ashish Sahani, Ms. Manasi Duggal & Suman Roy, second year students of the Institute.

Around 35 teams from reputed management institutes participated in the competition.  Participants in the competition were provided a case study in the trial round.  10 teams shortlisted for the final round were required to analyse the relevant issues in the case study and make a presentation to the panel of judges. 

"I am thrilled at our success in this competition," said Ashish Sahani, participant of the winning team. "We have proved our mettle by demonstrating the superiority of analytical and presentation skills of the Institute students.  We had to analyse and solve the case study in a time limit of less than 2 hours a daunting task."

Felicitating the winners, Dr. A.K. Puri, Director General of the Institute said, "Our students have been recognized for the grooming and hard work that goes into our curriculum.  I congratulate the winners and look forward to recognition in many other forums."
