February 15, 2013, Mumbai: There are no technological gizmos on display here nor are the usual Management games, case study competitions, debates, entrepreneurial quizzes, Mock stock exchanges being held, it's not the battle of the smartest sharpshooters in the country, still the level of excitement is going to overflow at the WeSchool campus as creativity, innovation and design thinking take centre stage at, 'wedvaan' The Thought Leaders' Conclave' from February 22-24,2013.

'wedvaan' is an unparalleled management festival pregnant with several 'firsts'. It is not merely ideation that will happen here, WeSchool for the first time is presenting students with the finest opportunity to taste and understand real world problems and requirements. This pioneering effort is a part of WeSchool's dedication to provide world class educational experiences to students and mould them into great entrepreneurs and managers. This festival encourages the participants to think out- of- the -box, be innovative and come up with smart and practical business models and solutions by putting into practise the real meaning of thought leadership in a simple capsule form, 'a management festival'.

Mashup and Samarth are two of the most notable programs of 'wedvaan'.

Mashup

A competition with a twist, Mashup is a unique initiative where management students get hands-on experience to work on a real entrepreneurial venture to help entrepreneurs create scalable business plans over an intensive two-day immersive experience where they live, eat and breathe the concept. Through 'Mashup' existing start-ups and budding entrepreneurs are provided with a unique platform to come up with workable business plan. In this grim economic period, financial experts and economists are banking on young and upcoming entrepreneurs to hold up Indian economy. There is a serious need for experienced hands to support budding entrepreneurial ventures. A Competition like Mashup is aimed at mentoring glocal entrepreneurs who can go global and think local.

Samarth

'Samarth', is the ultimate competition aimed at testing the managerial skills of participants to analyse their ability to face genuine business problems. It will be an unparalleled display of managerial prowess by participants from around the country trying to observe, identify and solve, through 7 different stages over the three days of the festival . The different stages symbolize journey of a business venture from inception to execution. Samarth  as a completion in itself is  very creative in nature,  filled with suspense and will reveal information to the participants only at the beginning of each stage, in order to make it as life like as possible.
