MISB Bocconi host their first Bocconi & Jobs career event, as a part of placement Program at their Mumbai campus
MISB students from the first batch of PGPB, meet prospective employers on day 1 of the Job Fair


Mumbai, January 31, 2014: MISB Bocconi, the India presence of SDA Bocconi School of Management, Italy, started the placement session for its first batch of PGPB (Post Graduate Program in Business) class of 2012-14, through Bocconi&Jobs career event. Prof. Andrea Sironi, Rector of Universita Bocconi inaugurated the proceedings for the job fair, along with Stefano Caselli, Vice-Rector, Universita' Bocconi and Laura Candotti, Director of Market and External Affairs Division at Universita' Bocconi and Alessandro Giuliani, Managing Director of MISB Bocconi. Teams from leading Indian and multi-national companies visited the MISB, Mumbai campus on day 1. Bocconi&Jobs is Universita Bocconi's (Italy) career event, an exclusive occasion during which companies, organizations and professional firms meet with students from the University.

Inaugurating Bocconi&Jobs at the MISB Bocconi campus, Prof. Andrea Sironi, Dean of Universita' Bocconi, Italy, said: "Students from over 80 nationalities study at Universita Bocconi and the Bocconi&Jobs career event provides a platform to organizations to interact and recruit some of the best talent from around the world. At the Mumbai campus, students study the same global curriculum under the guidance of our global faculty, as at our Milan campus. Through Bocconi&Jobs, we bring the global placement experience for our students at Mumbai."

The first batch of PGPB at MISB Bocconi commenced in July 2012. The batch completed one of their semesters at Universita Bocconi in Milan under the campus abroad program and returned in January 2014.

Highlighting the unique features of MISB Bocconi's PGPB program, Prof. Stefano Casselli, Vice-Rector, Universita' Bocconi said: "There are three pillars to our two year PGPB program. The first is our focus on soft skills, which is important for managers today in the globalised world. The second pillar is the in-class experience for students through teaching by global faculty with a mix of theory and practice. The third pillar is the international exposure for the students."
