IMT Ghaziabad's three-day mega annual festival
Passion concludes on a high note

Ghaziabad/New Delhi, October 15, 2015:- Curtains came down on the three-day extravaganza - Passion'15, the annual management and cultural festival organized by IMT Ghaziabad, India's premier B-school. Turning out to be a grand success, the festival spanning 9th, 10th and 11th October witnessed the best talent from across the B-school fraternity in India competing in intellectually stimulating events. More than 3500students from across 70 colleges from around the country were present at the event. The campus buzzed with bright colours and enthusiastic faces of the participants and audience who were gripped by the excitement of the most eagerly awaited B school fest, Passion'15.

The first day started with the inaugural ceremony of Tatva, the flagship event of Passion'15, where students from the biggest B schools in the country competed for the title of the best summer internship project.

Mr. Pankaj Dubey, Country Head and Managing Director, Polaris India Pvt Ltd graced TATVA as the keynote speaker. On the cultural front, a gaming marathon was conducted with games like FIFA, Need for Speed, Age of Empires, and Counter Strike, followed by the fashion show that drew loud cheers from the audiences, with the display of trendy fashion, great music and great fun. The high-octane evening concluded with a rib-tickling performance by East India Comedy featuring Sorabh Pant and Sapan Verma who left the audience in tears with their skit on today's education and business scenario.

The second day of Passion had various management competitions, judged by eminent industry stalwarts and saw participation from the biggest B Schools in the country like ISB Hyderabad, IIFT Delhi, SP Jain, IIM Indore, MDI Gurgaon, IMI Delhi, FMS Delhi, BIM Trichy and others.IMT's business plan competition, 'Biztro', which helps foster entrepreneurship and innovation helped bring out fresh new ideas. Besides this there were other nerve-wrecking competitions ranging from case studies to role-plays and debates and interviews which encompassed all verticals of management like finance, HR, marketing, operations, consulting, and strategy. The evening ended with cultural events like the Fashion Show, Dance, Music and 'Battle of Bands', opened by IMT band Institute of Music Technology followed by brilliant performances rendered by various B-schools.

The final day of Passion'15 kick-started with the penultimate rounds of all the management and cultural competitions followed by a scintillating performance by Tochi Raina and his band "Bandagi" who enthralled the audience with popular tracks like Kabira, Dilli Dilli, Saibo and Gal Mitthi Mitthi. The fest concluded on a grand note with the grooving Passion party hosted by VH1 Supersonic. The dance floor was thrown open to everybody once the results of all the events were announced and the winners were awarded many exciting prizes.

Bidding farewell to another super-successful edition of Passion the organizing committee members concluded the VH1 Supersonic gig by thanking all the sponsors Bharat Petroleum, NHPC, Indian Oil, Idea, NTPC,ebay, Coca Cola, Opulent and Axis Bank for the 3 day extravaganza. The Dean of IMT, Dr.Surendra Batra was immensely proud of the efforts put into the event, the turnout at the venue and the overall success of the show. This year's Passion has left everyone with even bigger hopes as they await the arrival of the 2016 edition with bated breath- it will be even bigger, better and brighter!
