ICFAI tops in Tata Crucible campus quiz show
The winners of the Tata Crucible campus quiz, held at the Taj Mahal Hotel, Mumbai, on February 20, 2005, got a pleasant surprise when the master of lateral thinking, Edward de Bono, joined Tata Sons director and chief guest J. J. Irani to hand out the prizes.

The Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI), Chennai, carried away the first prize for the final round of this national annual event for colleges. The Jamnalal Bajaj Institute of Management Studies secured the first runner up spot and IIM Ahmedabad was the second runner up. Many prizes were also handed out to members of the audience who answered correctly.

The Tata Crucible quiz was first held for corporate participants in 2004 to commemorate the death centenary of Tata Group founder Jamsetji Tata and the birth centenaries of J. R. D. Tata and Naval Tata. It has now been extended as a quiz for students of colleges and business schools.

The finalists were selected at rounds held at Kolkata, Delhi, Pune, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Chennai, Ahmedabad and Mumbai. CNBC was the television partner and will be telecasting the highlights of the national finals in the first fortnight of March 2005.
