TVRLS  announces a Three-day Workshop on
SELF-RENEWAL FOR HRD PROFESSIONALS
APRIL 21-23,2002

- Developments of the last decade have established beyond doubt the need for competencies of individuals, goups and organizations.
- Competency building is continuous and contextual.  There are many ways of doing it.
- Human Resource Managers are supposed to facilitate this, but they can have
a variety of limitations.
Are you as a HRD Manager, able to do full justice to this role?  Are you able to use your competencies to the full extent to make a difference in your organization?  Are you able to make a difference?
To help you examine these issues, reflect about your own role as a HRD Facilitator and update yourself with current global trends in HR knowledge, skills and roles and prepare a plan of action, this three-day (2 nights) residential workshop has been planned.
The workshop will take place in the midst of scenic settings of Hotel Sitara in Ramoji Film City, Hyderabad, and you will have an opportunity to have a tour of this wonderful place.
The workshop involves about 25 hours of work and film city tour.

What is 360  Degree Feed Back?
360 -Degree Feedback is a Multi-source Feedback System.  Almost every leading organization across the world  uses this in some form or the other.  In this system the candidate is assessed by a number of assessors including his seniors, boss, direct reports(subordinates), colleagues, internal and external customers.  The assessment is made on a questionnaire specially designed to measure behaviours considered as critical for performance.  The assessment is done anonymously,  sent for tabulation,  and is more objective and authentic.  In a culture like India people are normally hesitant to share feedback frankly in person but may not hesitate to share the real impact you are making if anonymity is maintained.
Following are the advantages of 360 -Degree Feedback:
- It helps you to assess yourself and the impact you are making on the organization and its members more objectively;it acts like an appraisal and lays the ground for self-renewal as aleader;
- It helps you discover many of your blind spots, or if you are already aware of them, helps you to become more focussed in your perceptions;
- It provides more objective and acceptable feedback and helps you to understand the chemistry you are generating on your people;
- It can serve various purposes like identifying  developmental needs, institution building, creation of healthy internal environment to enhance employee commitment and productivity,  performance development etc.,
- It helps focus client satisfaction;
- It suits particularly organizations that are in services sector as well as those that have flat and matrix structures, and use temporary teams and projects as a part of their functioning.
