ABOUT THE INSTITUTE 
TJPS College of Post Graduate Studies managed by Vasavi Vidyanidhi Committee was established in 1971 under the dynamic leadership of Late Sri Tellakula Jalayya, an illustrious public figure.  Regarded as the prestigious institution of higher learning, the College offers a number of courses and has a strength of 2500 students, 125 teachers, and 75 supporting staff.  The Post Graduate Department of Commerce and Management Studies of the College introduced its MBA programme in 1986, and since then it has earned an excellent reputation.  Its students are rank holders in the Nagarjuna University for several years.

Computing  : The College has a well-developed computer centre with Pentium Systems. The Computer facility extended to Department of Commerce and Management Studies is gainfully used for teaching, research and placement activities.

Library : The department has an excellent library for the use of faculty members, researchers and students of commerce and management at the Post Graduate level. The library has at present over 8,000 text books, a good percentage of which are international editions. It also subscribes to about 62 professional journals in such areas as Commerce, Economics, Management, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology Information Technology etc.  .
