Kamlesh Misra has previously held the position of Director of IILM, New Delhi. He has over 16 years of research, teaching and administrative experience including at Northeastern University, University of Pittsburgh and the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy. He has to his credit several publications in refereed journals and is the author of three books. His areas of interest are Finance, Strategic Management and Economics.

Venkatesh Umashankar

Venkatesh Umashankar has over fourteen years of work experience in the industry and academia. Prior to joining IIMT, he was Dean of NIILM, New Delhi. His areas of interest include Services Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, and Advertising & Brand Management. He has several publications to his credit.

Vinnie Jauhari has previously worked in the corporate sector & with the Institute of Integrated Learning in Management, New Delhi. Her areas of interest include Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship and Marketing. She holds an extensive publication record in refereed journals and a book on Business Strategy. She is currently involved with a number of research projects in areas of management.

Bhushan, Sudhanshu

Sudhanshu Bhushan has over 14 years of extensive teaching and corporate experience in US and Europe including Lecturer/Teaching Assistant at Boston University and Manager International Operations (Finance) at SAMA Group of Industries - Italy, before returning to India. Prior to joining IIMT he was associated with the F.I.C.C.I, as Economist. His areas of interest are Business Economics, International Business and Risk Management.

Panda, Supriya

Supriya Panda has over 13 years of teaching experience at BGSU, U.S.A and BITS, Pilani, India. Headed the S/W training program (Academics) for a year at MREC, JAIPUR in collaboration with ASIAN, CERC LTD, Bangalore. She has several publications in journals of international repute. Prior to joining IIMT, she was Assistant Professor (Computer Science) at the B.I.T.S., Pilani, for 10 years.

Singendonk, Bernd
Assistant Professor

Bernd Singendonk has over 20 years of experience in the tourism industry and has studied Tourism and Business Administration at Heilbronn University, Germany. He has worked as a long-term consultant for a human resources development project in tourism for the Vietnamese Government, as lecturer at HTO (Hanoi Tourism College) and as guest lecturer at the TAC(Tourism Authority of Cambodia). He has an experience of teaching MA students in hotel management at BUA (Bilkent Universitesi Ankara, Turkey) where he was also in charge of the hotel management of the University 's Training Hotel. He gained his working experience from various assignments in hotel management in international first class hotels worldwide (Hilton Hotel Duesseldorf, Germany, Club Mediterrannee, Phuket, Thailand-France, Bristol Hotel Bonn, Germany, African Safari Club, Switzerland-Kenya).

Anirban Das has over 5 years of teaching experience in Engineering Colleges as Lecturer in Computer Science and has an experience of teaching MCA students in JNU (Jawahar Lal Nehru University), IGNOU (Indira Gandhi National Open University) and FORE School of Management as Guest Faculty for several years. He has worked in the IBM-Bio Informatics Project in IBM, India Research Lab. His areas of interests are Natural Language Processing, Artificial Intelligence and Algorithm.

Kirti, completed her three years CA training from A.F. Ferguson & Co. Chartered Accountants, getting a good exposure in audits of well known Indian Companies and MNCs. After qualifying she was recruited as an Assistant Consultant in the Consulting Department of A.F. Ferguson, where she worked on assignments like demerger, disinvestment and accounting separation in the telecom industry. She then worked with Price WaterHouse Coopers and worked as a Consultant in the Assurance and Business Advisory Services for an year, handling audit assignements of large public limited companies. Before joining IIMT, she was working with Escorts Limited as a Manager-New Initiative Cell in the Coporate Finance Division. She has over five years of industry experience.

Bharwani, Sonia

She received her MBA in International Business, in the U.K. She was an MBA Exchange Student at the FUQUA School of Business, Duke University, North Carolina, USA. A university topper in M.Com, Sonia has over six years of experience teaching management in premier colleges in Mumbai and Ahemdabad. During her three years at H.R. College of Commerce and Management at Mumbai, she taught a range of subjects including Finance, Marketing, Export Management and Travel & Tourism. Sonia has more than four years of industry experience in the area of finance at Skyking Instruments Pvt. Ltd., a Mumbai-bases private trading organisation. During her tenure she was actively involved in tax planning, budgeting, credit control and investment decisions. Currently, her areas of interest include General Management, Finance and Marketing.

IIMT is an institution of higher learning that from its inception has played an important role in the development of manpower for the business community. In the transition of India from an agricultural to an industrial principally hi-tech, economy, the School of Management & Entrepreneurship at IIMT constitutes a core element in strengthening the Indian management community, while also working with others in the region to address common concern and mobilize economic forces to take India forward into the new millennium. Admission to the BBA (Hons.) Degree programme is open to students who have passed or are appearing for the class XII examination under the CBSE, Council of Indian School Certificate Examination or any other equivalent Board in India or abroad, with English as a medium of instruction.

ELIGIBILITY

Step 1

Admission to the programme is based on:
Marks obtained in class XII examination or equivalent (normally a minimum average of 50% is required for admission to the programme).

Step 2

Objective type written test comprising of English, General Awareness and Quantitative Aptitude.

Step 3

Group discussions followed by personal interviews.

The annual fee is broken into three instalments and is payable at the time of registration at the beginning of each term.
Additionally, each student is required to pay a university registration fee of 450 (GBP) directly to Oxford Brookes University at the beginning of each academic year of study.
A security deposit of Rs.15000 is to be paid at the time of admission, which is fully refundable on completion or withdrawal from the programme. Students should note that fees once paid are nonrefundable.

FACILITIES AT INSTITUTE

    Academic Facilities

    Students are provided with centrally air-conditioned classrooms at both campuses of IIMT. Both IIMT campuses have modern libraries with multimedia facilities. The libraries subscribe to more than hundred national and international journals in the area of management, hospitality and technology. It also subscribes to EBSCO database. A local area network has been established giving each student access to online computing facilities. The Internet support at Gurgaon is based on a 128 kbps lease line ensuring stable and speedy connectivity. Spectranet has collaborated with IIMT to provide broadband internet connectivity. Currently the institute campus works on a Windows NT environment. However Linux and UNIX environment are also available.

    Extra Curricular Activities

    Apart from its excellent academic facilities, IIMT provides its students with a range of extra curricular activities. All students are automatically given access to the Unitech Country Club facilities, which includes swimming pools, tennis courts, and a range of indoor recreation facilities such as snooker, pool and table tennis. The student society operates its own social programme of events and assists fellow students to develop clubs and societies for the mutual benefit of the entire student body.

    Hostel Facilities

    The Institute provides hostel accommodation for both boys and girls. Under normal circumstances two students will be expected to share a room. Given that only a limited number of students can be accommodated, priority is given to those who reside outside the Greater Delhi area. Those interested in securing hostel accommodation should complete the hostel accommodation form as well. Please note that hostel accommodation is provided on first-come-first served basis for a minimum period of one academic year.

    Transport

    Hostel residents at the Gurgaon campus are provided free transport to and from the institute and hostel. No transport is provided to students who do not stay in the hostel.

The Institute for International Management & Technology (IIMT) is one of the fastest growing institutions of higher learning in India.
