ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
S.K. Patel Institute of Management and Computer Studies (SKPIMCS) is the academic arm of the 80 year old prestigious philanthropic trust Sarva Vidhyalaya Kelavani Mandal which is engaged in the spread of education in North Gujarat. Established in 1998, the SKPIMCS offers AICTE approved full time two-year Master of Business Administration (MBA) programme affiliated to the Gujarat University. The Institute strongly believes in providing market driven, cutting edge academic inputs to the management education. The Institute offers a dual specialization scheme in management education and information technology.

CAMPUS & ACADEMIC FACILITIES

Accommodation/Hostel : The Institute provides excellent hostel and recreation facilities separately for male and female student. All rooms have attached toilet facilities with 24 hours running hot water. The hostel also has a recreation room fitted with television and indoor and outdoor sports facilities. The hostel kitchen provides excellent and hygienic catering facilities.

Recreation : To enrich the campus life of students, the institute provides excellent recreational and extra-curricular facilities. The institute has become the corporate member of the Sports Authority of India, Gandhinagar. This enables students to avail sports facilities of International standards at a very nominal rate.

Computing : The institute possesses two computer labs, which are equipped with latest Pentium based 60 computer dedicated for students use. All computers are network based on Windows NT which are attached to servers through ethernet cable network with IBM RS 6000 and Netfinity servers. The institute possesses all relevant softwares and databases including CMIE's Prowess which incorporates updated data of about more than 7500 listed companies. The computer lab facilities are available to the students upto 9 p.m.

Library : The library as a backbone facility for effective learning. Keeping in tune with this the institute has a sprawling library, which admeasures 415 Sq.m. It has a rich collection of 3500 titles on different aspects of management and computer studies. In addition, the institute subscribes to 11 International and 24 reputed National Journals and magazines. Students have access to library facilities for 12 hours a day. The library is provided with Internet connection and Audio-Video arrangement for research and studies.
