ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
AIMT (Shri Atmanand Jain Institute of Management & Technology) was set up in 1996.  The institute functions under the management of Shri Atmanand Jain College Trust and Management Society founded in 1938 by Jain Acharya Shri Vijay Vallabh Suri ji Maharaj to commemorate the memory of illustrious Jain Acharya Shri Atmanand ji.  The Society runs many educational institutes in the city of Ambala.  Affiliated to Kurukshetra University, the Institute believes in regularly upgrading its teaching material and teaching methods. Its students have been consistently receiving distinctions and gold medals from the university.

Semester – I

Campus: The institute is housed in a brand new sprawling, pollution free campus spread over an area of 4 acres with newly constructed ultra modern building surrounded by lush green garden, which is a prominent landmark of the institutional area, Ambala, with well designed class rooms equipped with slide projector, TV, VCR etc. used by faculty and students.

Computer Resource Centre: AIMT Computer Lab is well equipped with all modern equipment facilities with 80 terminals of advanced configuration (mostly Pentium 4) having connected in network with fully air-conditioned practicing environment and Internet facility. It also has acquired valuable peripherals including laser printer, DMP printer, scanner, CD writer etc. and latest versions of software. We do believe in giving practical exposure to the students, if required; hiring the experts from outside for practical knowledge enhancement other than curriculum is a routine practice. Besides these, Research and Development work is also encouraged, whereby students have freedom to explore and enhance their skills.

Lecture Threatres: We have well designed classrooms developed as learning halls to create professional atmosphere to train the future managers/engineers. The rooms are well equipped with audio visual aids such as VCR, TV, OHP, Slide Projector etc. which helps in the presentations, seminars and lectures by guest speakers, faculties and students in a professional and practical manner.

Hostel: The institute provides in campus separate hostel facilities for boys & girls. The hostels are well furnished with all modern facilities like water-cooler, geysers, colour TV and indoor games etc. There are well furnished common rooms and guest rooms.

Academic Resource Centre: As Henry Longfellow said "The love of learning, the sequestered nooks, and all the sweet serenity of books." The library of the institute has a vast collection of over 4,000 books and large number of Journals (National & International) and Periodicals related to business, management, computers, economics, entrepreneurship and information technology. It also provides facilities of audio-visual exposure.

ACADEMIC STAFF

1. A bachelor's degree (10+2+3) in any discipline from a recognized University with at least 50% marks (minimum pass marks for SC candidates).
2. Those who have appeared for the Final Examinations and are awaiting the results can also apply.

Prof Rajendra K Gupta completed his BE Mechanical with Honors Division in 1973 and MBA in First Division with specialization in Marketing in 1978 from J N V University Jodhpur, a top ranked and well-known University in India. He commenced his career with leading organization L&T and went on to work with some of top business houses in India and in Public sector.
