The college authorities have been very magnanimous and generous in providing the facilities and developing skills of the students.
1. To motivate students for better performance, management is recommending for scholarships to students who required financial assistance, Mr. Karabasappa, IV semester and Mr. John Kennedy, II semester were secured National Scholarships sanctioned by All India Management Association, New Delhi.  Miss Gayathri of I sem. MBA student has been secured Fair & Lovely Foundation, -Mumbai Merit Scholarship for Girls. Students are recommended   for Merit and SC & ST scholarships Offered by Government of Social Welfare and Bangalore University.
2. Allotment of subsidized hostel facilities & Canteen facility inside the campus is the major facility offering by the institution. And wi-fi facility is also extended to the premises of hostel.
3. The institution encouraged to form the 'Alumini Association for the old students of the college & inaugurated 'Synergy-2007" for the welfare of old students.
4. BIMS students reached the final round of Management Festival conducted by Bangalore University, Bangalore.
5. With the fillip from college Authorities and facilities provided students are found to be Participating enthusiastically in the Survey by Global Hospitals, State & National level Seminars conducted by All India Management Association, FKCCI, Bangalore Management  Association & other leading Management Colleges etc.
6. Conducting the Blood Donation Camp by Manipal Speciality Hospital in the campus of BIMS.  Very interesting feature is that the students & staff members are found to be donating blood wholeheartedly whenever required. Recently Manipal Specialty Hospital Organized.
7. A Language club was set up to provide a systematic coverage of essential communication skills under the headship of Prof. Lucas.
8. Personality Development Programmes are conducted for all students in order to activate and expose natural abilities. Professional training is given to improve the student's communication skills, techniques for facing interviews and group discussions.
9. Industry Interaction Programmes are organizing every semester to develop practical interaction with various industry people.
10. Conducting Guest Lectures on every weekend with the eminent people of the society e.g.: Dr. Chandrasekhar, Surgeon of NIMHANS on 'how to reduce stress and improve tolerance".  2.  Wg.Cdr.Patrawala, Retd.GM of HAL on "how to succeed in life"   3. Mr.Babu, President of AIMO on "entrepreneurship" etc.
11. Release of "BIMS Management Journal-2007" to encourage the young researchers and creative & innovative MBA's and faculty. 3rd and 4 th semester.
12. Arrangement of Pre Placement Trainings and Campus Selections for the MBA students during the 3rd & 4th semester of their course.
13. Planning to organize an entertainment programme for the orphanages in the coming semesters.

ELIGIBILITY FOR ADMISSION

MASTER OF BUSINESS ADMINISTRATION (MBA)
(Affiliated to Bangalore University; Approved by AICTE - New Delhi.)
 
The objective of MBA is to educate students to enrich the knowledge in various aspects of management and advancing from time by creating an aspiration to excel deep- rooted education for their development into efficient managers.

This program is Affiliated to Bangalore University; Approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) - New Delhi.

Duration of the Program: 2 years. This contains 4 semesters.

Eligibility: Candidates should have passed Bachelor's Degree from any recognized University, in any subject – Commerce, Arts, Sciences, Engineering , Technology or equivalent and secured not less than 50% of marks (45% for SC/ST candidates) in the Bachelor's Degree Examination in aggregate.

And the candidates have to qualify in any one of the Common Entrance Examination at India (Eg. CAT,MAT, K-MAT, ATMA etc.)

b. Work experience, if any.
c. Candidates must have appeared in an Aptitude Test. (CAT / MAT/ XAT/ ATMA / KMAT).
d. An assessment of the candidate's overall aptitude for pursuing a Master of  Business Administration - to be administered by the institution.

Candidates attending the Selection Process may please note the following:

1. Selected candidates who wish to confirm their desire to join the institution should pay the admission fee Rs.35750/- to register for the Program.
2. Candidates who do not confirm as at [2] above would be construed as not being interested in joining the Institution and/or the Program they have been selected for, and would forfeit the seat.
3. Such forfeited seats would be offered to the Candidates who are next in the order of merit.
4. Candidates, having confirmed their desire to join the Institution, shall pay the balance of the fee for the relevant program within the stipulated time.
5. Failure to comply with instruction as at [5] above would result in a forfeiture of the seat. The amount already paid will not be refunded under any circumstances.

JURISDICTION:
Candidates and their parents/guardians may please note that any dispute arising out of any of the clauses would be subject to the jurisdiction of the Courts at Bangalore only.

The main objective of the BBM Programme is to motivate young students to take up challenges in lower level and middle – level executive positions in business and industry, in the context of the globalization process going on in the economy. It is also envisaged, to equip them with decision making skills, computing skills, analytical skills, and entrepreneurial skills and so on.

BBM program from BIMS is affiliated to Bangalore University and approved by State Government.
