CAMPUS & ACADEMIC FACILITIES

Campus: The permanent campus of MINDS is being planned at Plot No. 325B, Bommasandra-Jigani Link Road Industrial Area and is expected to be fully ready by mid-2009. The campus will consist of a Management Learning Centre, Research & Consultancy Wing, Executive Training Centre and Hostels.

Accommodation: All possible assistance will be extended to the students in arranging boarding & lodging facilities.

Computing: MINDS has a wi-fi enabled state-of-the-art computer lab, with round the clock internet access.

Library: The library is well-stocked with technical books & periodicals and offers both reference and referral services.

Executive Director of STEM and Member, MINDS Academic Council. Housing & Human Settlement Consultant for over three decades. Alumnus of IIT-Kharagpur. Was Professor & Dean, IIM-B as also adviser to the UN and the Governments of Bhutan & Saudi Arabia.

Prof. K.N. Venkataraman

ME in Water Resources Development. BE in Civil Engineering. Served for over three decades in various capacities ranging from Assistant Engineer to Chief Engineer in Water Resources Department of Govt of Madhya Pradesh. SELECTION PROCEDURE

PGDIM-level (first year): Graduates in all disciplines of Engineering (including Agricultural Engineering, Architecture or equivalent degree) or PG in other disciplines (like Economics, Sociology, Statistics, and Physical/ Natural Sciences), with 50% marks in aggregate (covering all the years of study) are eligible for the PGDIM-level (first year) of the programme.

MBA-level (second year): Only candidates possessing the PGDIM qualification will be eligible to pursue the second year (MBA-level) of the programme.

* PGDIM-level Ist Year: Rs.1,90,000/- (including a refundable caution deposit of Rs.10,000/-)
* MBA-level 2nd Year: Rs.1,50,000/-

Selection will be made on the basis of academic record, group discussion (GD) and personal interview. Candidates will be short-listed for GD & interview based on the academic performance in the qualifying examination. Short-listed candidates are required to appear for a group discussion and personal interview.

ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
MINDS conducts a unique dual-option PG Programme in Infrastructure Management offered by the VTU. Called PGDIM upgradable to MBA in Infrastructure Management, this is an innovative two-in-one programme. Those who successfully complete the first year are awarded the VTU's Post-Graduate Diploma in Infrastructure Management (PGDIM) . Those who complete the second year get the VTU's MBA Degree in Infrastructure Management as well. It is also possible to continue with the MBA-level second year even after a break.
