MINDS -
School of Management for Infrastructure and Development Strategies – India, a division of Centre for Symbiosis of Technology, Environment & Management (STEM) and an Extension Centre of Karnataka's prestigious Visvesvaraya Technological
University (VTU), is the first infrastructure management school of its kind in India and the developing world.
MINDS was set up with a vision to create a pool of competent techno-managerial personnel for India's
infrastructure sector and bridge the gap between demand & availability of a new generation of proactive infrastructure planners, managers & administrators.

CAMPUS & ACADEMIC FACILITIES
Campus:
The permanent campus of MINDS is being planned at Plot No. 325B, Bommasandra-Jigani Link Road Industrial Area and is expected to be fully ready by mid-2009. The campus will consist of a Management Learning Centre, Research & Consultancy Wing, Executive Training Centre and Hostels.
Accommodation: All possible assistance will be extended to the students in arranging boarding & lodging facilities.
Computing:
MINDS has a wi-fi enabled state-of-the-art computer lab, with round the clock internet access.
Library: The library is well-stocked with
technical books & periodicals and offers both reference and referral services.

PGDIM-level (first year):
Graduates in all disciplines of Engineering (including Agricultural Engineering, Architecture or equivalent degree) or PG in other disciplines (like Economics, Sociology, Statistics, and Physical/ Natural Sciences), with 50% marks in aggregate (covering all the years of study) are eligible for the PGDIM-level (first year) of the programme.

Selection will be made on the basis of academic record, group discussion (GD) and personal interview. Candidates will be short-listed for GD & interview based on the academic performance in the qualifying examination. ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
MINDS conducts a unique dual-option PG Programme in Infrastructure Management offered by the VTU. Called
PGDIM upgradable to MBA in Infrastructure Management, this is an innovative two-in-one programme. Those who successfully complete the first year are awarded the VTU's Post-Graduate Diploma in Infrastructure Management (PGDIM)
. Those who complete the second year get the VTU's MBA Degree in Infrastructure Management as well. It is also possible to continue with the MBA-level second year even after a break.
