List of Electives	Internship Training Project Dissertation & Viva - Voce SPECIALISATION AREAS : Marketing Management, Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Production & Operations Management, Systems Management, Entrepreneurship Management To qualify for a specialisation in a stream, a student will have to take a minimum of 6 electives which are developed and updated from time to time. As an alternative, if the student's dissertation topic is in the specialisation stream, he/she could select 4 courses in the same stream and qualify for specialisation area.

CAMPUS & ACADEMIC FACILITIES

Accommodation/Hostel Facilities : The Institute has separate hostels, nine in all, for men and women are available in the immediate vicinity of the institution building which help students in accessing late-night library and computing facilities. Each room is furnished with cots, study tables, storage racks and has hot water supply. Hall of residence, close to the institution accommodates over 80 students almost all in twin study bedrooms. The new hall of residence provides the following facilities: Dining Hall, TV and Reading Hall, Laundry, Equipped Gymnasium, Round-the-clock Security, Vehicle Parking, Telephone booth with STD.

Recreation : Indoor games such as chess, carrom, TT enjoyed by our students living in the hostels. The hostel is also furnished with a multi-gym. Ladies can become members of Aerabics Club at a discounted price. The hostels also have a reading room and TV.

Catering / Mess : Hostels have mess facility. There is also a roof-top canteen for students

Health and Welfare : Whilst you are living in Bangalore studying at the Institute, it is important that you register with an Alliance Business Academy approved health centre. The Institute is registered with two clinics close to the institution and is for all students who become ill and cannot be adequately cared for in their lodgings.

Computing : Whatever your chosen area of specialisation, computing skills will be an asset in your future career. In recognition of this, the Institute has invested and will continue to invest in the state-of-the-art computing facilities complete with INTERNET and MULTIMEDIA facilities. The computing services is open late hours and access granted to the lab at the flash of your ID. All machines presently are Pentium based and connected over a LAN. You will have access to a variety of mainstream PC software, including industry standard application packages, growing range of windows software, discipline specific software ERP, and a host of other software for analysing business problems. And if you are a computer addict, the "Association For Computing Machinery" ABAcus is just the right club for you.

Library : The Academy's Library is the main source of books, periodicals, and other study materials for all students during their course. You will also find previous exam papers, time tables, maps and other useful reference materials. Library & Information Services is open late hours and will not simply be a collection of books. It will also provide information in a variety of forms - books, periodicals, journals-both Indian and international, audio-video materials, electronic databases… and people. Information regarding several business periodicals will be available through the CD-ROM for all students. Also, students can obtain information over the INTERNET. Materials or books not immediately available with the Institute can be got by the students from the I.I.M.-B library, which is just about 1.2 kms. away from the Institution.

Students seeking admission to the MBA Program should have passed Bachelor's degree/Master's degree examination of any recognised education body in Commerce, Management, Arts, Social Sciences, Engineering / Technology or equivalent, and have secured at least 50% of marks in the aggregate (40% for SC/ST candidate).
