ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
Avdesh Pratap Singh university was established by an Act of the Madhya Pradesh State Legislature on Oct. 17, 1969. The UGC recognised this University in Feb. 1972 and it is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and All Commonwealth Association of Universities (ACAU).  The University is situated at Rewa city, "Land of White Tigers", having a population of more than three lakh.  The department was established in July 1988 and the first batch of MBA course was started in January 1989. We offer Two Years Full Time MBA Course with dual specialisation pattern.

CAMPUS & ACADEMIC FACILITIES

Accommodation/Hostel Facilities : The University has Boys and Girls hostel in the campus. Students of M.B.A who desire hostel accommodation shall apply to the Warden of each hostel in the prescribed form. Hostel accommodation is not guaranteed as the number of seats in each hostel is limited.

Recreation : The University is having its own Sports Stadium, Gymnasium and Yoga hall for games and sports. University is privileged to own by itself a Multidimensional Cultural Centre for Theatre, Music and other extra curricular activities. Besides this the department is having M.B.A students club known by the name "Federation of Business Brains" which is run by various committees of the students themselves to organise socio-cultural, sports, extra curricular and academic activities in the department.

Catering / Mess : The University is having a paid canteen in the campus itself.

Health and Welfare : The University is having Dean Student Welfare to ensure the galvanisation of students active participation to the co-curricular life of the institution. The University is having its own primary health centre to respond with first-aid to any emergencies and causualities in the campus.

Computing  : The department has already installed nine PC/AT Pentium/486/386/286 computer in Management Laboratory and is in the process of further strengthening the same for providing better computer facilities. The students are encouraged to acquire operational working knowledge of computer and its application in managerial decision making. Apart from this the students also have the access of the Computer Centre to further strengthen and deepen their knowledge.

Library : The department has a specialsed library of its own with more than 12000 books. It is continuously adding latest books to provide a better facility to the students. A comprehensive kit on syllabus is provided to each student from the departmental library.

Governing Body

The University is the autonomous institution which is governed by the executive council duly constituted in accordance with the M.P. Universities Act. The Executive Council is the supreme body which has both elected and Chancellor nominatted members with Vice-Chancellor as the Chairman of the Council.  The decisions of the Cuncil are final and binding to all the departments and institutions within the Unversity jurisdiction.

Step 1

Apply for the MPMJET to Professional Examination Board (VYAPAM), Madhya Pradesh, Bhopal, for which advertisements are released in all leading national dailies and Employment News, normally in the month of October

Step 2

Eligible candidates should appear in the written examination conducted at the notified date (normally in the month of December) and centre

Step 3

Short listed candidates should appear for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview at the communicated date (normally in the month of January/February) and place.

Step 4

The candidates are called on merit basis for the counselling normally in the month of April/May for the allotment of institutions.

Step 5

The allotted candidates to our institute are required to report here for the admission formalities generally in the month of June.
