Accommodation/Hostel Facilities : The Boys Hostel consists of two sitter and three sitter rooms which are spacious and well furnished. The hostel is well connected by public transport system. The Girls Hostel is housed in two separate buildings located in a posh civil area about five minutes walk from the Institute. The location is safe and is well connected to city by public transport.

Computing  : The PIMR computer centre is well equipped with computing resources to cater to academic needs of the Institute. The computer lab has 47 terminals. The network includes HP E200 Pentium III, Pentium 150, Celeron 300A as servers and Celeron 566, Pentium 133, Pentium 150 as nodes. Students have access to internet at these nodes. Softwares available in the lab are Windows 2000 Server, Oracle 8i, Visual Studio 6.0, MS-Office 2000, MS-Office 4.3 (Professional), MS-Office 4.2 (Standard), Windows 95, Unix Sco Open Service, Corel Draw 9, Quattro Pro, Turbo C++ for teaching purpose. Besides these softwares and hardwares the lab is also equipped with scanners and printers like Laser, Inkjet and Deskjet. The lab is available to the students for more than 12 hours a day. The students therefore, passing out from the Institute are thoroughly competent to handle computerisation methods and packages adopted by industry and business houses today. Since PIMR has integrated computers into the learning process, many courses offered at the Institute use appropriate computer base models. The institute has computer facility for facilitating the work in Director's office, Administrative office, Library and Accounts.

Library : The Institute has well equipped spacious library with around thirteen thousand books and reports/monographs on a large variety of management, computer applications and allied subjects. The library remains open for 12 hours on all working days. The catalogue with author and subject indices has been fully computerized. The library has a Journal Section which is being developed at par with any other leading Institute library. The Institute subscribes to 56 Research Journals including 14 foreign Journals. A large number of newspapers and magazines are also obtained for use in the library. The library provides the following services : Library Information Resources, Video, Audio, CD and Cassettes, Articles aiding current awareness, Photocopying facility, Exchange of publications, Announcement of forthcoming conferences, symposia and seminars, Organisation of book exhibitions, Internet access to all students.

For MBA (Full Time/Part Time) and MIB programs the minimum qualifications required for appearing in entrance test and getting admission would be Bachelor's Degree with atleast 50% marks in any discipline from any Indian or Foreign University/Institute recognised by Devi Ahilya University. Candidate has to produce Eligibility Certificate from Devi Ahilya University.

Candidates with Master's or Ph.D Degree can also apply.

Securing alteast 50% marks at Bachelor's or Master's Degree is essential.

Step 2

Group Discussion : A panel experts will assess the candidates. For this a topic (any subject) will be given at random to a group of more than two candidates for discussion for five to ten minutes.

Step 3

Personal Interview : Candidates who have been called for Group Discussion will also be called for Personal Interview. The purpose of Interview is to asses the candidate with regard to his aptitude, personality, background, general awareness, disposition, etc. A panel of experts will assess each candidate separately.

Admission of Foreigners, NRI and NRI Sponsored Candidates in MBA and Diploma Programs :

Step 1

There are limited number of seats available for admission of Foreigners, Non-Resident Indians (NRI) and candidates sponsored by NRIs in each program.

Step 2

Admission of Foreigners/NRI candidates is done on the basis of Interview only.

Step 3

Such applicants have to pay higher fee than free/payment seat candidates.

Step 4

In all other matters, they rank pari passu with other candidates.

Step 5

All candidates seeking admission as NRI/NRI sponsored candidates are advised to approach the Institute directly for admission in MBA (FT) and MBA (PT).

SPECIALISATION AREA : Students will be required to opt for one of the specialisation. In the case of MBA (F/T), he/she will have to study the courses given under the specialisation are his/her choice semester III and IV.
