ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
IITM was established in1997 by Shri Govindram Seksaria Technology Society.  With the founding of the second Technical Educational Institution, i.e. the IITM, the society has entered the field of Management education and innovative teaching methodology.  With this emphasis on the power of knowledge, IITM prepares its students with a broader vision to be effective Managers and leaders in the backdrop of global business environment & Information Technology.  The institute conducts 2 year M.B.A. (Full Time) course only, with an annual intake of 60 students.  IITM is affiliated to Devi Ahilya Vishwa Vidyalaya, Indore.

CAMPUS & ACADEMIC FACILITIES

Accommodation/Hostel Facilities : Hostel facilities is not being provided presently. However, it will be there at new campus at Scheme No. 54. Details can be given later on (somewhere in January 2001).

Recreation : Facilities for Cricket, Badminton, Tennis etc. are available. Our students had been participating in and won in University level competitions.

Catering / Mess : Canteen facility is available in the campus only.

Health and Welfare : Gymnasium with various facilities is available.

Computing  : Computer finds a very prominent place in the field of management. It is a very essential and powerful tool for various aspects of management. Imagination of implementation of modern management principles without computers is very difficult now-a-days. The institute provides state-of art computer systems to the students. It includes latest hardware, software packages and different platforms. Plans are up to develop a Local Area Network at the center as a part of the Intranet being set-up within the institute. All initiatives for the latter, where taken up by the students, as a part of their semester projects, with valuable guidance from S.G.S.I.T.S. faculty and equivalent support from the Institute's Director.

Library : Apart from a large number of books on various Management subjects, written by famous authors, the library also banks a large number of journals, newspapers and magazines (approximately 30 books per student). The library happens to have an Issue section and a Reference section. The library issue section has books on various management subjects like Marketing Management, Financial Management, OB, OD, MIS, Computers, Quantitative Techniques and Operations Research, Personnel Management, Business Laws etc., to name a few, while the reference section consists of relevant books from prominent authors, economic journals and magazines which are apart from the subjects in the curriculum. All these books are available to the students and faculty for issue and reference.

ELIGIBILITY

Candidates are selected through MP Management Joint Entrance Test (MPMJET) conducted by Professional Examination Board, Govt. of M.P.,Bhopal. It consists of 3 phases-WrittenTest (600 Marks), followed  by Group Discussions (75 Marks)  and Interview (75 Marks)  of those  shortlisted in written examination.
