The minimum requirement for admission is graduate in Science (Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Electronics & Statistics), Commerce, Management & Engineering with minimum 50% marks in qualifying examination. In order to pass in a subject in any semester, a candidate is required to obtain a minimum of 50% of marks assigned to that subject. A candidate can proceed from the first semester to the second semester irrespective of his/her passing the first semester examination fully. A candidate will be allowed to carry maximum 4 papers to the second year as backlog. If a candidate fails in the first year, he/she has to repeat the first year course with full fees if he/she is willing to continue with the course.

Step 1

How  to  apply
The candidates seeking admission have to obtain prescribed application form from the Institute on payment of the prescribed amount. The candidates can get informed about the details of the application through the advertisements published in the leading newspapers or they may contact the institute for the same.

Step 2

Entrance Test
A written test to be held at seven centres consists of Logical, Arithmetical, Analytical, English, General/ IT & Telecom awareness section.

Step 3

Group Discussion and Viva-Voce
Short listed candidates are required to attend group discussion and Personal interview to be conducted by the Institute. Final Selection of Candidates for admission is on the basis of their score in entrance test and score in group discussion and personal interview. The GD & PI are held in Pune only.

In the admission procedure, there will also be a psychological test at the time of GD/PI.
