COURSE STRUCTURE

CAMPUS & ACADEMIC FACILITIES

Accommodation/Hostel Facilities : The Bharati Vidyapeeth has hostels for male and female students on its Erandwane Campus at Pune. The limited accommodation is reserved for each Institute/College. The students shall be required to apply to the Rector well in advance. The details such as fees, rules etc. can be obtained from the Office of the Rector Bharati Vidyapeeth Hostel.

Computing : The centre is equipped with latest computer hardware and software including Internet facilities.

Library : The Library and I.C. of the IMED is fairly equipped with Books, Journals, A/V cassettes, Periodicals it is being continuously enlarged. It provides following services. (a) Reading Room facilities, (b) Home reading service against payment of deposit. The working of the Library is governed by rules. The Library has inter Library/Institutional linkages with many specialised Libraries in Pune.

ACADEMIC STAFF

A candidate who has passed Bachelor's Degree in any discipline of any statutory University with minimum 50% marks in aggregate (45% in case of candidates belonging to the reserved categories) shall be treated eligible for admission. A candidate who has appeared at the final year examination of a post HSC course degree in any discipline of a statutory University in India (recognised by the Association of Indian Universities) shall also be treated eligible provided the candidate passes qualifying examination with requisite percentage on or before 31st July.

ELIGIBILITY

Step 1	How to apply Admission to MBA Programme shall be governed by the Rules and Regulations prescribed by the Department of Technical Education Govt. of Maharashtra. The Eligibility certificate is the first document which enables the student to get admission to the chosen course in teh University Jurisdiction. Every student has to apply to teh University for Eligibility Certificate at the time ofadmission. After the last date of admission by the Admission Authority as stated in schedule is over, the Institute shall fill the vacancy if any by admitting eligible candidates on the basis of merit. The candidates are therefore advised to contact the Institute for further communication in this respect.

Step 3	Group Discussion and Viva-Voce The details about Common Entrance Test, G.D. and P.I. and about marking scheme for the past academic record and mark experience are announced by the State Govt. The schedule of admission will be informed by the Govt. at the time of G.D., P.I. The candidates will have to pay appropriate fees immediately and secure the admission offered to them by the Admission Authority.

ABOUT THE INSTITUTE
The Bharati Vidyapeeth established the Institute of Management and Entrepreneurship Development (IMED) at Pune in 1978 to impart University courses and other programmes to develop managerial and entrepreneurial potential. Today after more than a decade, IMED has emerged as a prominent centre of learning with highest intake of students for the management degree courses. Each year a number of IMED students occupy places in University examinations. Bharati Vidyapeeth, the parent body of the IMED, was set up by Dr. Patangrao Kadam in 1964 to contribute to intellectual awakening and socio-cultural transformation through dynamic education.
