Graduates or postgraduates of a recognised university, with a minimum of 50% marks in the aggregate of all the years. (Candidates appearing for the final examination in April 2001 may also apply. Admission of such candidates will be provisional and will be automatically cancelled in the event of not fulfilling above requirements, or if the results are not declared before November 2001).

MPIB candidates may apply for admission in the enclosed application form in any of the three categories mentioned above.

Special Instructions for Industry Sponsored Candidates :
SIFT has created a special niche for candidates sponsored by industry. The applicants in this category should send, with the application form, a sponsorship certificate in the format given alongside. No change in the certificate is permissible. Please note that sponsorship certificates signed by officers other than those specified will not be accepted.

Special Instructions for NRI/Foreign Nationals Category :
This category is meant for NRIs or children of NRI/Foreign Nationals who would be required to attach proof of their NRI status/nationality (copies of relevant pages of own/parents passports), alongwith the overseas employer's certificate of parent/candidate. Foreign nationals and NRIs, if eligible, will be considered for admission on the basis of having qualified the GMAT and TOEFL examinations with (600 and 620 score respectively). Such students may be exempted from the written test and be graded entirely on the basis of the remaining selection process.

The academic expenses for the course, per annum, are :
Open Category :
Rs.65,000/- (Rs.50,000/- Tuition + Rs.15,000/- Direct Exp.) per annum + Rs.2,000/- refundable library deposit.
Sponsored/Management Discretionary Category :
Rs.1,15,000/- (Rs.1,00,000/- Tuition + Rs.15,000/- Direct Exp.) per annum + Rs.2,000/- refundable library deposit.
NRI/Foreign Nationals Category :
Rs.1,65,000/- (Rs.1,50,000/- Tuition + Rs.15,000/- Direct Exp.) per annum + Rs.2,000/- refundable library deposit.

Fees may be paid in 4 instalments. The entire fees for one/two years may be paid at the beginning of the course, if so desired.
