What to Bring to the Test Center

What Is Necessary for You to Bring to the Test Center

  1. acceptable identification as described in Presenting Proper Identification
  2. the names of the schools to which you would like to send your GMAT® test scores (see Sending Your Scores to Schools)
  3. your authorization voucher, if you made your GMAT® appointment by mail (see Scheduling a GMAT Appointment in the U.S., U.S. Territories, Puerto Rico, and Canada)
  4. Items Not Permitted During the Test Session
    No testing aids are permitted during the test session or during breaks, and there is limited space for you to store your personal belongings.

Testing aids include, but are not limited to:

  1. notes
  2. scratch paper
  3. calculators or watch calculators
  4. stop watches or watch alarms
  5. personal data assistants (PDAs)
  6. telephones or cell phones
  7. beepers or pagers
  8. photographic devices
  9. stereos or radios
  10. any other electronic devices
  11. books or pamphlets
  12. dictionaries, translators, or thesauruses
  13. pens or any other writing utensils (pencils are provided at the test center)
  14. rulers or any other measuring devices

Scratch Paper

The administrator will provide you with six sheets of scratch paper that may be replaced after you have used them all. You may not remove this paper from the testing room at any time. All scratch paper must be returned at the end of the test session. You may not take your own scratch paper into the testing room.
